About Jockeys & Juleps Kentucky Derby Party
Held on the first Saturday each May at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club is pleased to present Jockeys & Juleps, Williamson County’s premier Kentucky Derby Party. More than 500 attendees gather under tents to celebrate the running of the Kentucky Derby. Activities include:
- Viewing of the Kentucky Derby on a 16-foot LED screen and large screen TVs
- Live music and dancing
- Derby-themed food and beverages
- Live and silent auctions
- Bourbon tastings
- Much, much more!
Funds raised from the Jockeys & Juleps Kentucky Derby Party benefit local and international charities through the Rotary Club of Downtown Franklin Charitable Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 status organization. Raymond James, the 2019 presenting sponsor, helped our club raise in excess of $50,000. In 2020, with the continued generosity of presenting sponsor Raymond James and while respecting safety madates, our club innovated to create and sell “Jockeys & Juleps Virtual Party Packs” raising over $11,000 to support local outreach efforts.
